It took a little bit, but as promised pictures of the schools gala!

The theme for the night was "Around the World in 80 days" and all of the pieces incorporated wood into them. The pictures that I included are not all of the dresses, but these were some of the more exquisite ones.

I also helped out to raise money for a trip that the third year students are planning at the end of the semester to Germany by wrapping presents. It was uneventful for the most part, but one note worthy event to happened was the discovery of "American cookies"!
I honestly cannot tell you what makes them American, but they were delicious...

It has been a hectic last couple of weeks, but my class survived! Time has flown by so fast and I can't believe that I only have two and a half more months!

I will be spending Christmas in Paris and then flying out to Poland to see a friend for new years. Trying to keep an eye on the weather, it seems to be staying steady at numbers below 10 degrees F! But have no fear, I figured it was going to be cold and decided to do a little bit of shopping. So, with the help of multiple layers of clothing and a new scarf and hat, wonderfully pictured below, I should be able to stay fairly warm.
As you can tell, it's a rather large scarf...totally worth it!

Not much as happened recently, so I will leave you with more pictures from the gala and a promise of to many pictures from my holiday adventures for when I return! Enjoy!
